Budget 12–16 weeks of lead time for a replacement turret to arrive, then 4–5 days with the machine down for teardown, rigging and OEM installation. From decision to first good part is roughly four months.
Turret sleeving takes 2–3 days of downtime, is usually scheduled within 30 days, and is done in place — the machine never ships. Total elapsed time is about four to five weeks.
Downtime is the number that costs you money, but lead time is the number that decides whether you can react at all. They are different, and quotes often mention only one.

The lead time is the part that catches people out. While you wait 12 to 16 weeks for a replacement assembly, the press is still running — on the same worn stations that caused the problem. That means continued misalignment, continued burring, continued tool sharpening and continued scrap, for a third of a year.
Sleeving compresses the whole thing into roughly four to five weeks from decision to finished, with only 2 to 3 days of that spent with the machine down. Most of our customers schedule it over a planned shutdown or a long weekend and never lose a production day.
There is also no shipping either way. Our field engineers bring the boring equipment to your facility, so the machine stays exactly where it is.
