You have had your free downloads
here is how to get the rest

Every Amada manual and parts list on this site is free. There is no charge and there never will be. What we ask is that you tell us which machine you are working on, because these documents took years to find, scan and identify — and handing the whole library to an automated collector helps nobody who actually has a machine down.

Send us the serial plate

A photo of the machine's serial plate, and roughly where on the machine you found it. That is all. We will send the document back, and usually more than the one you asked for — if we can see the serial number we can tell which revision actually matches your machine, which is worth more than the file you were about to download.

  1. Photograph the serial plateUsually on the right-hand side of the frame, or inside the electrical cabinet door. If you cannot find it, send a photo of the machine and we will tell you where to look.
  2. Tell us where it wasOne line is enough. It helps us confirm the model, because the plate location differs across the ranges.
  3. Send itWhatsApp is quickest. Email and the form both work.

Why there is a limit at all

Automated collectors were taking the whole library, hundreds of megabytes at a time, without a single machine behind the request. The limit is a few documents per visitor, which no one working on one machine will ever reach. Search engines are not limited at all, so the documents still turn up when you search for them.

If you have hit the limit honestly — a busy shop with several machines, a service company, a dealer — say so and we will simply open it up for you.

If you came here from a drawing

The exploded-view drawings have their own allowance, separate from the documents: you can look through the drawings for a few machines before we ask, and every sheet from the same machine is free once you have opened one. Reaching this page from a drawing means you have looked at a few different machines — tell us which one you are actually working on and we will send the sheet you need, usually with the part numbers already marked up.

Every part number in those books is free to read and search without any of this: the part number index is open, and so is searching it.

Looking for something we do not have?

Tell us anyway. We are still collecting, and a good part of the library came from people asking for a document we did not have yet and then sending us theirs. Browse the manuals · browse the parts lists.
